Our pile cloth media filters are specifically engineered for use in disc filters at wastewater treatment plants, providing an efficient solution for filtering phosphorus, TSS and medical residues.
Pile cloth media filtration to remove phosphorous and TSS
Filtration through our pile cloth media filters retains TSS, microparticles as well as phosphorous and medical residues. The many fine pile fibres in our cloths ensure that the particles stick and are removed from the wastewater. A combination of the filtration methods of cake filtration and depth filtration plays a major role here. It is important that the pile fibres are incorporated robustly enough into the carrier fabric so that they survive the cleaning process by suction well and are not pulled out. A big advantage is that our cloths have a high loading capacity by solids and they can be used in continuous operation. Furthermore, they have a high chemical and mechanical resistance.

Meet the limits with pile media filtration
Reduce the amount of relevant substances in your wastewater to below the required limits.
Our aim with the multifilament pile filter cloths is to meet the limits of 10mg/l TSS and 0.5mg/l Ptot.
With the microfibre pile filter cloth, on the other hand, we want to achieve a higher filtration efficiency: <5mg/l TSS and <0.1mg/l Ptot
