Pseudo-Ion OILFILTER

FOR THE FILTRATION OF MICROPARTICLES FROM
TURBINE AND LUBRICATING OIL

Imagine having turbine oil so clean that you can reduce turbine downtime and halve maintenance intervals. Not only do you save time, but up to 30 % turbine oil per year.

Microfiltration through pseudo-ionisation

With the pseudo-ionisation of particles > 0.1 µm, we achieve a purity of the turbine and lubricating oil that cannot be achieved with normal filters. This is a bypass filter through which the turbine or lubricating oil is passed. In two different chambers, the particles are given either a positive or a negative charge. Subsequently, the particles charged in this way look for a partner and become so large that they are filtered out via a filter cartridge. What is very important in this process is that more negatively charged particles are produced, which, if they have not found a partner, return to the lubricating oil system and look for a partner there. The great advantage of this is that we achieve a complete cleaning of the lubricating oil system in this way, including rust and sediments at the bottom, without having to stop the turbine.

Technical data

The most important point is:

We filter rust, bacteria, gases, water, particles and cracked additives out of the turbine or lubricating oil with a filtration efficiency of up to
0.1 µm, whereas normal filters manage a maximum of 3 µm. That is 30 times finer than the best filter cartridge.
