The coalescing CSPHE filter elements for oil mist eliminators are used on compressors and turbines to filter the oil mist from the lube oil systems. A vacuum pump ensures that a vacuum is generated in the lube oil system on a compressor or turbine. This creates a volume flow containing tiny aerosols and particles. These particles and aerosols are drawn through the CSPHE filter elements to be filtered. Most important is that the filtered lube oil will be lead back into the system without loss of additives.
